All Smart Retract products come with a one-year warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials, excluding damage from misuse and ordinary wear and tear.

In the event of needing to return a product, items can be returned within 30 days for a full refund (minus shipping) if the item is free of odors, clean, and undamaged. Restocking fees are never charged if these conditions are met. Please email info@SmartRetract.com for return instructions and to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Be sure to include either your name and address or your Order ID and the reason for the return in your email.
When returning a product, it must be packed in the original box with all included accessories and parts, and with the RMA number written on the outside of the box. When we receive your return, we will inspect it and refund you the purchase price to the method of payment that you used at the time of purchase. You should typically receive your refund within one week from the time we receive your return. You will also receive a confirmation of your refund by email.
If you choose to exchange your product, the most efficient way to process the transaction is to place an order for the different product, and then return the original product. Products returned for an exchange still need to be received by us within 30 days. To request exchange instructions and to get an Exchange RMA number, contact us by email at info@SmartRetract.com. Please let us know the reason for your Exchange and your order ID.
It’s common for customers to have already installed the mounting brackets before deciding on an exchange. If that is the case, and you’d rather leave them installed, just keep the original product until you receive the exchange. Then include the unopened Bracket Kit from the new product when you send back your return.
We ship direct to nearly every country in the world. For shipments going to Canada, United Kingdom (UK), and European Union (EU) countries, we collect and pay all duties and taxes at the time of order so that once you receive your package there is nothing more you will have to pay. For other countries your package will arrive duties and taxes unpaid, so you may need to pay the delivery carrier those charges directly.
Orders placed by 2:00 p.m. Central Time will normally ship the same day (Mon-Fri), excluding major holidays. If you have a time-critical delivery and must receive your order by a special day, we recommend contacting us in advance of your order to ensure proper delivery. We will make every effort to help you find the best shipping options.
